Some days are harder to bear than others. They may last a week or just 8 hours, but their duration is moot when you’re trying to get through them.
Things are interesting. And handling them in cold weather is interesting.
Why the mystery? An interesting question.
Do you know the sentiment, “May you live in interesting times”? This is no blessing. It’s not a curse, either. And it isn’t Chinese or ancient. In fact it’s just a phrase that was uttered during a meeting in the 1970s and its origins are Western.
The statement is meant to be neutral or maybe mysterious. I think it’s ironic: interesting times. Lots to deal with; lots to see and do. Some bad, some good, some neutral. There is no mystery unless you ascribe it.
It’s all perspective.
