Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
I baked and iced three Christmas cakes this year: two for friends and one for me. Each cake was decorated differently.
The intense focus was both exhausting and cathartic. Ended up humming “Twelve Days of Christmas” at one point. It’s been a long time since I’ve done so many Christmasy things in one season — approximately four dozen months?
