…and teeth-pulling is done for the moment.

So: obssession with Supernatural has stopped the writing. Apparently. In fact, the marathon wtatching activity has cleared my view (somehwat) on the secret project. The “pulling teeth” from yesterday originates from a scene written threen days ago.

In it, the main character (MC) is out of character. The MC’s background dictates a tough, resilient personality. The scene depicts otherwise. Soution: rewrite the part of the scene that isn’t working. And the rest falls into place.

Caveat: do this before watching any Superntural — great motivator, horrendously detrimental distraction, all in one. Solution: discipline of the mental sort. And the internal motivator, the thing that keeps me going, getting up each day. It’s kicking into gear, albeit slowly. But better that than dormant or worse.
